Everexceed PXM Plus 80-500kVA

The PXM Plus 80-500kVA is a modular design with N+X redundancy that comes with 40 or 50kVA power module, that has independent hardware and controllability that enable it to operate and coordinate with other modules within the system. The control of power modules connected in parallel is decentralized in the power module device (no centralized control system). The omission of the master/slave architecture, eliminates any possibility of a problem due to the failure of a single power module. Each power module provides the following features:

  • Isolated airflow with redundant fans
  • Independent LCD display for each module
  • 10.4 inches colour touch screen for monitoring and measurement
  • Conformance coating for operation in harsh environment
  • Autonomous Start-up (independent from the central display)
  • 3 level inverter technology
  • High power density
  • Self test mode for full load test with less than 10% of the power capacity needed
  • > more than 95% overall efficiency
  • Cold start
  • Smart sleep mode for energy saving
  • Automatic record of  critical wave form for easy trouble shooting
  • Critical component life span monitoring for service period

The system cabinets are available in three different dimensions, able to connect up to 2, 4, 6 or 10 power modules. The frames allow for input/output connections to the electrical system and to the protected load. This infrastructure provides a unique platform for viewing and managing all parameters, as well as historical events as the UPS frame, the single module, the electrical system and the supplied load are all connected. Information about preventive or corrective maintenance is then easily accessible through the 10.4” color LCD touch screen display.
